A Passion for Storytelling

I’m a Brazilian writer based in Washington State, an avid reader, and the mother of two curious kids - a boy already bigger than me, and a little girl - who keep me grounded, honest, and endlessly inspired.

Stories have always been my quiet place. Long before I called myself a writer, I was a reader first, the kind who got lost in books, reread favorite lines, and believed stories could explain the world better than anything else. In 2025, I finally gave voice to that passion and began sharing my work publicly.

I write because stories shaped me. I write because I love reading. And I write because I believe children deserve books that see them, not as who they’re told to be, but as who they already are.

My Writing Style

My writing is warm, lyrical, and emotionally grounded. I favor clarity over cleverness, rhythm over noise, and meaning over spectacle. Whether I’m writing for children or adults, I’m always chasing the same thing: emotional truth told simply.

I believe the best stories linger quietly. They don’t shout. They sit with you.
